This was purely to one test what I could build on a budget and two what could this could do. Another note: I've already got two fully functioning gaming desktops!

Now because of UPS being incredibly late with the cpu and gpu I don't have bench marks ready yet. But what I can say is that so far this build looks good aesthetically, the two sticks of ram are lit up with blue led's and I also included a couple blue led cooler master fans that were lying around.

The goalmy overall goal is to run world of warcraft at a playable frame rate graphical settings do not matter, reason being once i'm done beating the snot out of this it will most likely be given to my youngest brother to play on (if it even runs properly).

Problems So FarSo far the problems I ran into include cable management within the corsair 100r and the power supply being non modular (lesson learned)

I will update as I get more info for the post any ideas would be awesome and if anyone has any experience with the cpu, gpu, or motherboard feel free to drop what you have in the post thanks :D

This is not a joke build, there are people I know who claim to have a gaming machine with a core 2 duo and a gt 620...

That actually seems like a pretty good build tbh.

Quote me if you want me to reply.

Brand Blacklist: Gainward, Silverstone, Cougar, Gigabyte.

the GT640 is actually a semi-viable option.

GT620 is self-torture tho :P

Well lol you are right. Reading reviews about the parts gave me a false idea of what to expect. World of warcraft runs at 1080 55-67 fps ultra with a mild over clock on the gpu. Really surprised that for 400ish dollars I did good. I gave it the name River.
