GPU needed?

Hi, if I want to stream to twitch call of duty, 1080p60fps, from my console via Elgato, I'm wondering what kind of GPU would be necessary if any, or if the console is doing most of the heavy lifting? Also what cpu would you recommend to complement it?

a gtx 970 would be good and if you want to go modern you should go for a i5 6600k or a i7 6700k

So you don't want to game on your PC but just use it to stream? Is that right? If yes a simple APU would be sufficient

Yes that's correct for now, I figure I could always upgrade in the future

A simple i7 4790 (non-K) will easily do that with the iGPU
