Hello everyone,

Since shortly my system has some issues, mainly being that it is stuck in POST and tries to power up over and over again, everytime with a little click in the MB speaker and flashing HDD lights. The weird thing is that normally I can get the system to start when I extract one RAM stick and put it in a different slot, but the next time when I try to boot the PC a few hours later without changing anything its stuck again. And when I change the memory back to the first slot, it will work one time but after a short amount of time its the same issue again. Restarting works fine. Since I got my RAM replaced only four weeks ago, I am a little bit confused if it may be the Motherboards fault (the error was there before the replacement and I thought the new RAM fixed it). All I did before the error occured again was lowering the voltage on my CPU (currently not OCed i7-4790K) to decrease temperatures, but it worked fine at first, so not sure if its connected...

Does anybody have an idea what the error might be? And what components may produce these symptoms?

Thanks for your help,

Hierax

Is the voltage on the CPU still lower than default?
