Pokemon Multplayer

I think pokemon needs to have a multiplayer option, utilizing some kind of massive multiplayer software, with servers or something. Theres no reason why it couldnt be tied into the current standards of the mobile games somehow. Just by adding the option to co op around the regions with friends and meet new people, it becomes a mmo without risking the whole franchise, no gameplay mechanics would need to be changed as far as i can see. The games already let you trade, battle and chat with people, so why not add avatars as well?

Legal issues aside, this is a great example of how the game could look and run, only i garuntee that ninteno would knock it out of the park.

and beyond that, you're not the first one with this idea, not the last one, and its not the only idea out there.

 

there's been several picks of pokemon MMO's, battle arenas, and other twists on the pokemon franchise.

most of these get DMCA'd (for good reason), others seem to find loopholes arount the DMCA issues, others go underground and end up abandoned or jammed with bloat.
