So brother in law wanted a gaming pc and i sorted it out for him. Just wanting to make sure i did the right thing.

Got i5 3470

8gb ddr3 ram

Nice hp case

new 450w psu

Hd7770 1gb version

500gb wd blue

Dvd rw

hp 19inch widescreen

he has been use to playing on a laptop at 15fps in league of legends and cant even run another game on his POS

It was on a budget and i think i  did really well.

Is it all used hardware? if so you'd be fine with an i3 and getting a better GPU like a 7850

otherwise what budget?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Well then it's probably fine, just try and fit a 1080p IPS display in there, or find a 1600x1200 75hz CRT
