Possible Problems using two routers together

Hi everyone!

I just got a new fiber optics Internet connection and before starting to enjoy my bandwidth I need to update my setup.

Im currently using a tp link wr841n and for being sort of an apple guy (yeah I know...) I want an AirPort Extreme.

The problem begins with my Apple TV 4, I'm using a DNS service for US Netflix and therefore I had to block Googles DNS (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4). Now, the AirPort Extreme doesn't support static routing and I thought about using my old router as sort of a passthrough to my ATV.

Will two routers trying to act as gateways won't work together? And if they won't does someone have an idea for a solution?

thank you so much in advance and sorry for my bad English,

gil

apples airports are garbage

get a asus AC router that can handle the bandwidth

something like the ac66u or ac68u

and when you do..put the asus merlin firmware on it

will work good for blocking googles dns

If you need remote help fixing something on your computer

I can help over Teamviewer if you wish

just msg me on my profile

The thing is I only want my atv being blocked from googles dns, today I have to keep enabling/disabling the block because when it's enabled my moms Galaxy  s6 and pc won't surf the web properly...
