Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge Preorders open in Australia

Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge preorders started for Australia today with prices of $1149 and $1249 for the 32GB S7 and S7 Edge with a "Bonus" Gear VR headset. Personally I think this price is quite absurd even though Australian money is trash atm and I (and I'm sure a lot of others) would have thought it'd make a lot more sense to have a lower price and no "Bonus" Gear VR

Yeah Vodafone texted me with a deal, still fine with my S4. These new phones are so expensive.

Lol I can't wait to see some equally absurd pricing here and more 15 year-olds walking around with phones that cost more than a used car...

No idea why this is absurd considering every flagship phone has been $1k+ here since like the 3GS, the thing I find surprising is they have kept it this cheap considering how shit our dollar is atm

It's €729 for the s7 and €829 for the s7 edge here, it's more or less along the line of the competition, I'm not surprised by it.

You can find used cars for €200 so... it doesn't take much.

I've seen phone shops in Germany offering that S7 + VR bundle too. Didn't look too closely at the price though, because it'd be too much for me anyway :/

We just preordered it from Verizon (AZ, USA) for my brother who works for me at my shop.  I'm sick of staring at his burner phone.  "Don't call me man, my minutes are expensive".  Ugh.
