AS ABOVE i know its a bit of a noob question but just wondered how it makes a differences ?

CPU cache: is a super fast memory, there is not much of it, and holds data, instructions and /or results.

there is thre different types of cache L1 L2 L3, L1 is the first one to be used and is on the motherboard itself, L2 is the secondary one and is on the microprocessor, and L3 is the lates one and aswell is on the microprocessor.

what cache is, it is basically like a high speed RAM built in the processor, because the CPU run faster than the RAM, the RAM itself can´t handle to provide the data that the CPU is requesting, so the CPU uses the Cache.
