Welcome to the Forums!

Might I suggest the new 750D there are a few things with the case I would say are a bit lack luster or not as up to date compared to the current ones after building and modding one.

For the front panel however you will not be able to move the power and front IO to the bottom because the flap down door and cutouts for that is a single injection molded piece that is not aeperatable, where the block itself bolts down to the top of the metal chassis itself. Also to mention to top piece is not the same size as a drive bay being shorter in height.

Hello all.  After coming to a decision in this thread, I decided to buy myself a Corsair 650D for my first desktop build in over a decade.  This was helped by the fact that Newegg got some back in stock for $179.  I'll have the case in a week or so.

The PR buttons and IO panel are in the uppermost optical drive bay of the case.  This drive bay is actually fake.  But I'd like to move this IO panel, power button and all, to the bottom optical bay.  That way, when I plug in cables and headphone cords, they won't get in the way of the optical drives, etc.  I'd also want to put an optical bay cover over where that IO panel originally was, so I don't have a big hole in the front of my case.

I was hoping to find someone in the Seattle area who had the skills and tools to make this look professional.  And if you're in the area and feel up to it, please drop me a line!  Failing that, your advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.  Please let me know if there's anything I need to clarify.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Damn, everything I found made it look like I MIGHT be able to do that IO port mod.  Why are good cases so hard to find with lower IO panels these days?  Anyway, it has already shipped, so I'll just have to wait and see how it is.  Worse case scenario, I send it back and snag a 750D or a Fractal Design Define R5.

Thanks again!

The Define R5 is a really nice option and keeps the IO on top if you don't want cables or things getting caught in the front.
