Hi guys,

So a while back I posted a thread about a possible gaming PC build, now I've more or less figured out the complete build of the PC except the power supply which I am still unsure about because I am worried that I will buy one too under or overkill and I will have either wasted money or blown up my PC lol... I also need a bit of help with choosing a monitor, I'm still undecided whether I want to make the leap to G-Sync or if I just want to go with a 144Hz 1ms Monitor. Apart from that I'm fine with my parts but just need some guidance on these few things. Not really too bothered on PSU cost as long as it's under £100 ($140).

I suggest the corsair HX750i for a PSU.

As for monitor, what resolution would the G-sync and 144hz monitors be?

Also, you're going to want a hard drive to store moar files. Something like the WD blue 1tb will do nicely

Snorlax: i7 5820k @4.5ghz, Asus X99 Pro, 32gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666, Cryorig R1 Ultimate, Samsung 850 evo 500gb, Asus GTX 1080 ROG Strix, Corsair RM850x, NZXT H440, Hue+

Smallsnor: Huawei Matebook X

Canon AE-1 w/ 50mm f/1.8 lens

Pentax KM w/ 55mm f/1.8 SMC lens

Zenit-E w/ 58mm f/2 Helios lens

Panasonic G7 with 14-42mm f/3.5 lens

Polaroid Spectra System

That build is amazing. You are one of the smart people on the forum that can allocate their budget correctly

I plan on gaming at 1080p for the foreseeable future as I feel as if the 980Ti will at least be able to last a few years before I go with pascal. Thank you for the PSU suggestion, and yes I now realise the I forgot to add a HDD! :P

Thanks for the input, I have considered this particular PSU before.

Yeah, the G2 series really offers outstanding performance. You really can't go much better.
