Hi I currently have a 1tb  sshd and I might get a 3 or 4 tb one as I don't have enough space but the drive is partioned so can I copy the drive without the partioned or not

 Yes, you can. There are many hard drive cloning utilities online, try Googling. I'd personally recommend downloading a gParted Linux ISO, copying the files to a thumb drive and loading up a live session to clone the drives using that utility, but that whole process is quite advanced and the more user-friendly tools can be used from inside Windows.

gParted isn't very user friendly and it can't be run from inside Windows. A free user-friendly drive cloning program I recommend is the free version of EaseUS Todo Backup. It's quite simple to use and Lifehacker has written a great article on the subject. Even though in the article, they're transferring from a hard disk to a solid-state drive, the process is much the same.
