970 or 980?

For 1080p GTX 970 or R9 390 would be plenty.

But like many others mentioned ... wait for few months and you can get them even cheaper, or just buy newer versions of GPUs when they come out :)

If you don't plan on upgrading to higher resolution either 970 or 390.
