Decent gaming rig suggestions

So i'm going to put together a smaller second rig(not trying to play any insane games on this) to keep at a friends house. I already have a 660 Ti laying around I'll throw in for the gpu. Only trying to spend around 5-600 on the rest of the rig. Not sure if I should try and go itx or do an tax mid tower build. Probably looking towards the i5 6500 for the cpu. Any suggestions on where to go with this build? Never really tried a budget build.

ebay and craigslist are your friends often times with budget builds. I got an FX8350 and a decent motherboard with 8 GB of RAM for $200 which I think is decent price.

You know how it is, the cow goes "moo", the dog goes "woof" and the gamer goes "The PvP is unbalanced."

Yeah i was just browsing craigslist for stuff but of course when i want it the cpu's and motherboards are gone lol. I'm a little sketched about buying used parts off of ebay but it could be an option
