LOL points in ranked

Hello! I have recently noticed that now i get 21 points when i win instead of 26(i used to get) and when i lose it removes me 17 instead of 16.Also i have noticed that some of my friends get 16 per win and the lose 26 per los do you have any idea why this happens and how can i take more points and lose less? HOW THE HECK DOES IT WORK?

Go to the league of legends folder and press delete

Delete any other moba you have on there while you are at it.

Maybe they changed the algorithm for how many points you get during an update. No clue personally, I just play the game for fun.

Yeah my friend who back then like 2 years ago was gold 2 and played with me (silver 5) we won like 5 our of 5 games and he used to win 20 but with lower ranks he won 12 in the end.If its not because of the rank difference then lol is just doing a balance

Hidden ELO i believe. If they lose more than they get, i think their elo is lower then where they are? I dont know, thats how i understand that ranking system. Example: last season after placements, i got into bronze 1 and i was s1 before that i think. I have been getting up to 36 LP per win, jumped promos for silver, probably cause my hidden elo thing was higher then where i was.

There is an algorytm that analyses your current streak, your position in the league etc. So if you just lost like 8 games in a row and you win one, you will get like 25 point. If you are on the winning streak you will probably get around 15 and so on

This is to help better players move out of lower tiers faster.  If you can't get out of a tier in 10 games, you maybe should stay a while longer

Something to do with your hidden ELO, usually the reason why you get LP(league points) is based on how each team's ELO is. If your team has a lower ELO than the other team, you'll get more LP when you win and lose less LP if you lose the game. Of course, if your team has a higher ELO compared to the other team, you'll gain less LP if you win, and lose more LP if you lose.

The system is dependent on your MMR if it is high you get more for winning and less taken away for losing, if it is low the opposite happens.
