W10 or W7?

So my system will be used for gaming mostly, although if I opt for W7 I may use Citrix server for work, but thats something completely different.

Anyways so the Windows search functionality is really annoying me, but I dunno if I should switch back to Windows 7.

I am not too bothered about DX12 yet as nothing I play takes advantage of it yet.

 

Suggestions?

Windows 10 has the best DX12 support. When games start using well, it'll make a big difference

If you're gaming then you need to get MSX (10). 7 is okay but tbh 10 is more ironed out I feel.

W10 does have better framerates, and I haven't had any actual problem with it

If you want the W7 search on W10 install Classic Shell.  The search is way better than the stock W10 search.  And you still get access to the W10 search along with Classic Shells W7 search.

like dx11 did to dx10? oh wait, like dx9?...oh wait

 

DX doesn't make any "big" difference really, not graphically at least.

but since it will only be on windows... vulkan will be the go-to one for all game developers, so it will make dirx12 useless

win10 in all of my experience is better. also it looks visually alot better
