Properly resetting windows 10

So I've been posting on here for the past few days trying to get my PC sorted out and I think it's time to just give up. No one here has been able to successfully help me with it, which could be my fault because I know pretty much nothing about troubleshooting. Either way, my C:/ drive is fucked apparently. Is there any Best way of formatting my SSD and then reinstalling windows 10 on it? I do still have the install USB and my product key. However when I go into the Windows troubleshoot blue screen where it gives me the option of resetting my PC, It never works. I just get a message saying that cant be done.

Go to the windows page and download the media creation tool. Then take an USB drive and make it a bootable windows install. Turn off your 

PC, unplug the HDD and put the pendrive into an USB slot. Boot to it (may require BIOS setting) and click next till you see your wallpaper. Done.

I tried this but and It reset windows but It didn't format my SSD (which I have windows installed on)

Can't you do this during the installation process? And even through your HDD?

you need select format while you install windows....

its right there at the start

just click it

oh okay, I just didn't see that screen when I was doing the clean install

hahaha yeah maybe, But I honestly don't think that screen  ever came up. I'll try again

if you did a clean install from a USB or dvd then it 100% did
