Watercooling 960

So I currently have my EVGA 960 with the ACX cooler and I want to watercool. Problem is the only blocks I have used in the past were from EK and I generally like their products and they currently don't have a GTX 960 block. But they do have a 970 blocks. If I grabbed the 970 waterblock designed for the EVGA cards with the ACX cooler would I be able to use it on my 960?

I'm afraid not, no. The GTX 960 GPU die is a different shape than the GTX 970 die. Not only that, but the PCB layout is completely different.

Why? It's a waste of money to liquid cool that card. Sell the 960 and combine that with the money you'd spend on the block and get a 970/390.

I got my 960 and I went "welp if I'm gonna watercool I might as well throw in my 960". I know it's not practical but why not

Because by the time you get the block and parts needed you have a more powerful card. To my knowledge that's why no one makes a block. But here.
