Depends what you're rendering. Just look up respective benchmarks with the cpus since final 3d rendering is pretty much just cpu reliant.

Hardware rendering by the gpu is generally so light that it shouldn't take long enough to worry about.

 

What the $1500 build has over the $750 is a bit more flexibility with more ssd storage, more expandability with the mobo, and more powerful cores + more threads.

Oooohhh,i see. Thanks! :). Because the PC that the company is using right now is just an i5 with low end GPU. It takes the PC the whole day to render 3 designs

In case you just need raw rendering power, it may be worth it to invest in making a render farm.

How you set up render nodes depend on the programs being used. Like anyone who who's using or studying on how to use the programs, look up tutorials and do research.
