I have question about frame times. I saw few benchmarks/comparions using that with FPS timer also.

So I would like to ask what software should I use to show me in-game FPS and frame time? I have some weird behaviour from GPU load to keep jumping from 0% to 100% load while playing Guild Wars 2. Meanwhile on benchmarks, GPU load is stable, so I'm trying to find out why my GPU usage keeps jumping like that at my game.

With frame times I would be able to see if my GPU is waiting for CPU and maybe that's causing those spikes? But my CPU load is always below 50% while playing GW2, so I realy wanna see those frame times while I'm playing. Let me know what program would you recomend me for that :)

And here is picture of my GPU usage while playing Guild Wars 2:

Just now, App4that said:

Afterburner measures frame time but I think you have to have Rivia going as well, not sure.

Will check settings if I find it.

I found video that's using those frame times:

well I sued afterburner and whenever I get lagg (fps drop), those times are around 70ms.

Does frame time depend only on CPU?
