So i've known about this problem for a while now, it's a bit of a strange one.

Recently i've been checking out the new Eden editor for Arma 3 and it happend again. After a while the PC bluescreens and gives a message that it cannot find my SSD (so i presume, it says something along the lines of "A Device is not connected"). I've fixed this problem in the past just by taking out the cables and plugging them back in, turning off the PSU and then starting it up again.

I don't think it's overheating as i've never had problems with my GPU overheating. I also thought that maybe the connectors just coming lose a little so it lost power or something. My last thought was that maybe my PSU is just weird (somekinda MS-TECH 950 Watt thing) and that can't deliver enough power when using the editor? (Which seems unlikely for 950 watts, but it's no bronze certified or anything)

Yeah, if it is a "crappy" PSU then the power "delivery" (not the amount) can be affected. Especially if it is not even bronze rated. Try a stress test on all system components at once and see if it does the same thing.

This I think, all we need to know is that it is not Bronze Certified or above.

I would replace that with at least the tier above bronze as soon as he could

Yeah. Well, as long as we know it is causing the problem. But you are right, it could damage components, although I doubt that. But still a possibility.
