Love the Ducky mini, if you want a small Keyboard, then this one is awesome. Also fits your price bracket.

I would get one in a heart beat for the money you pay in Canada. It costs so much more here.

Looks like a nice kb but seems a bit too small for my taste :P

Well it is probably one of the smallest available. ;-)

Personally I use the Steelseries 6GV2, love it and in case of emergency I could beat somebody to death with that thing....or use the base as a hammer..... ;-) Super sturdy and heavy.

The logitech g710+ has brown switches and isn't backlit. It's a pretty great keyboard all around. Wrist rest is included.

I was planning on getting the g710+ but not I'm probably going with the k70, it's about the same price and I don't need the extra's the g710+ has.

Strafe, K70 or G710+

Have heard great reviews about all, own the G710+ and love it

Some guy called my office, trying to sell me computers. I just said "oh you mean those little box's with the tv on top? Yeah, our accountant has some". He promptly gave up and hung up the phone lol

Got any experience with red and brown switches?

I have Brown Switches in the G710+, really like them. Haven't had any experience with reds, but many reviews have said that they are great for gaming, but not so much for typing.

God dammit, I thought I had it figured out. Do you have the k70 rgb? I've heard a lot of issues with the non rgb's, also hows the brushed aluminum. I, starting to lean toward strafe rgb or something completely different. I love the features of both the strafe and k70, I want media keys, but I don't want a super dusty kb in under a week, I kind of want rbg but don't want to dish out $20 extra bucks for the k70, people complain about their k70 non rbg breaking after not too long.

Azio mgk1. Comes in blues, Browns. Backlit, wrist rest, numpad, cheap, media controls, well built. About $100 AUD

Daskeyboard Model S. No frills, well built keyboard. I have it with Browns and I reckon I'll keep it for years to come. About $125 AUD

Sorry I don't know what these are in CAD. Just look them up...

Oh and for switches, I have experience with most common ones, including non cherry ones.

Browns- good for everyone and everything

Reds- a bit of a learning curve for typing. Great for gaming.

Blues- great for typing. Not so much for gaming. It is harder to rest on the actuation point as it is no profound.

Blacks- Ok for typing, OK for gaming. Not really that great in my opinion.

I have experience with greens, greys, whites, clears, topre and Logitech (forgot what they are called) switches. If you want to know about any of these just just ask...

I'm probably gonna go with browns when I figure out which keyboard, I wanted to try red but doesn't seem like I'll be able to.

Thanks again.

Browns are the best balance. Great for gaming great for typing. They are my favourite except for whites but no one bloody makes a board with whites.

I just have a standard K70. I've had no issues, and the aluminum is amazing. It does get dirty pretty quick, but in black you'll barely notice.
