Posted February 23, 2016 Okay, so my beloved One M8 died today. The memorial will be held this weekend. But now I am in need of a new phone. I have 3 options that I like best. First is the Moto X Pure. It has everything I want, easily rootable, expandable storage and front facing speakers. However it is not available on contract, which means I'll have to wait a week before I can get it, so I'll be without a phone for a while, while it ships here. The other 2 that I was looking at were the Blackberry Priv, and the LG V10. The only thing wrong with the Priv is it isn't rootable, at all. And the only issue with the V10 is it doesn't have front facing speakers. I don't know what I should do. I can get those ones tomorrow since they are available at T-Mobile. What do you guys think? Posted February 23, 2016 I use a nexus 6p (great phone btw) and that made me love stock android, I also came from an htc. Its so simple and functional so I would go with the moto as it's the closest to stock and you can root it to find a rom that better suites your liking. Its also a really good phone. The issue there is T-Mobile also doesn't sell Nexus 5X or 6P. So I'd still have to wait until I get paid to get those. Posted February 23, 2016 I think you can live a week without a phone. Think about it this way - you might suffer for a week, but the phone you get, you'll probably use for 2+ years. I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console. #pcmasterraceproblems ~Slick Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/553348-i-need-guidance/#findComment-7296369 Share on other sites
