Cant Remove Bluetooth Device

So I haven't been able to use my bluetooth keyboard because I can't add it as a device. I couldn't figure out why it didn't want to add it as a device until a few moments ago when I realized, it still is connected. Or atleast my computer thinks it is. So I figured, maybe it would work again if I removed the device and re-added it. I tried to do so, but instead it returns the message "Remove Failed" No matter what I do, it won't remove the bluetooth keyboard. Any suggestions on how I can forcibly do so? I'm using windows 8 if that helps.
