What was your absolutely 1st camera/editing setup? When I 1st started I had a pretty **** setup

 

For a Camera I had this like 2mp with movie mode sony from like 2002 bare in mind this was in 2013 only 10 months ago

 

 

 

And for an editor I had a 2006 17 inch imac with lines going down its screen

at some point there were 90 lines flickering on and off

And for an editor I had Intel Core2duo with Nvidia Gts250

If we're talking absolutely first than we need to go back to like 2001. I had the Mustek MDC800 and a Celeron based PC w/ ATi Rage 128 PRO

The camera was absolutely terrible. It had like 1MP, but worse is it doesn't even have AF.

Later cameras I owned: Canon Powershot A20, Olympus C-750 UZ, Canon Powershot SX110IS, Nikon D5100

I'm not going into PCs

That's not that bad. You had AF and zoom.

I used a K1000 in high school (was old then), it used this funny thing we called film:

 

 

As far as digital, one of these:

 

 

It was Nikon's first mass produced digital camera, it cost me about $1,200 USD, you can now get one for $40. lol
