I've had constant issues with YouTube, the site takes a good 10-15 seconds to load, videos don't buffer. The video starts at the lowest res. 144p or 240p.

Is anyone facing the same issue?

Internet speeds are 9mbps download 11mbps upload. Just done a speedtest, same speeds.

Please Help. :(

I would suggest calling your ISP. Only if you're sure it's your internet.

9mbps is okay for what you describe but Youtube takes some whopping gigabytes of Data to load videos in 720p or 1080p.

If it's your PC then you should probably Scan for Malware; as it can slow down your computers ability to use the internet.

I can't call them, living with 11 people in an accommodation. It's the people who's room i'm renting from deal with it. And they won't do anything.

Are the 11 people also using the internet where you reside? because that could be the problem.

10 people* including me which makes 11. Should've pointed that out. Anyway. All of them go to work and they come back at 9-11pm. So I'm the only one using the internet. I've spoken to the "IT guy" he said there's no better internet provider. Yet, they have a separate connection which is Virgin Media with speeds up to 200mbps..

Who's connection does Virgin Media belong to? if it's someone you know then you might be able to ask them if you could use their Connection.

In the building they have 3 internet connections, one for residents, for their offices and school. We can't bring in our own connection, they provide us with one. It's called Metronet (UK).

Residents get the connection speeds of 10/11

Office and management get Virgin Media with a connection of 200/15

School gets 25/10 (no sure on the ISP)

I wish I could, I'll need a data plan for unlimited. I can't be stuck with only having 4G tethering. Plus the "mobile broadband" their prices are stupidly high with limited bandwidth. The work I do is all on the internet, creating videos for people, making video's for my personal YouTube channel. Plus I manage my uncle's network, which the VPN drops every 15-20 minutes.

hmm I use 4g all the time, works great, even downloaded steam games to my laptop and there are unlimited tarrifs available too

you could get a 4g wifi dongle and split the cost with other people there

I couldnt imagine doing all of that work on shitty internet ><

Which provider are you with? o2, EE, 3, Vodafone, Virgin?

No one want's to pay for bill. :/ I've asked 2 people. The others are not bothered by the internet connection that much.

Exactly! It takes me at least 2 hours to download all the raw footage, then I have to upload the finished video is around 5-8GB (4k video and length is round 10-20 minutes) upload it back to their FTP server. The VPN connection drops every often, which really annoying me. The only good thing, that online is not that bad.
