Neither of them.  Get a Sennheiser G4ME ONE instead. Or ZERO if you need closed.

Any major differences between them accept one is open and zero is closed? Ive read the sound is completly different, i dont know which to buy. My Siberia v2 mic died today due to a broken cable.

Personally i would prefer the open design because i hate it when my ears are getting hot. But on the other side from what ive read the ZERO is much better for FPS games etc. And from my siberia i know this fake leather stuff will fade away xD

I have a Corsair H2100 but it is very large so I cannot recommend it unless you have a large head. If you do though, it is super great.

Don't know who told you that closed is better for gaming.  Open is almost always better.

From a purely sound reproducing perspective, maybe.

But if you live with a family or use a mechanical keyboard, closed headphones can definitely be worth it just for the sound dampening. Or if you don't want the sound to leak, such as when watching... questionable things or listening to music others in your living space don't like.

If you want a cheap, but decent option, go for HyperX Cloud. If you can spend a bit more, consider Sennheiser G4ME ONE, or getting a pair of Sennheiser HD558 and a ModMic. HardwareCanucks made a pretty good video that shows the difference between gaming headset made by a good company and one made by a gaming peripheral company.

This has very little to do with whether your headphone is open or closed. It has more to do with whether your earpads are made out of pleather or velour. Pleather doesn't breathe very well, which makes your ears hot. I tested both velour and pleather pads on the HyperX Cloud and found that the pleather did leave my ears warm. I also wear velour padded headphones for several hours a day without my ears getting warm.

And of course, if you're in a warm climate, your ears will get warm.

Why would you bother to own a mechanical keyboard if you can't hear the sound of the switches making your penis bigger?

But seriously I love the sound of my keyboard.

i read in multiple reviews that the sound differs from both headsets. For example that the game one has less bass then the game zero but it sounds a bit more clear in mids.

well they are in german but i'll give you a source:

oh well, i had a Superlux hd681 and the difference between this and the steelseries siberia 2 was extreme. And both kinda had the same cheap leather imitate pads material on it. Only difference was the hd681 was heavier and tighter on my head, but so much warmer >.<

I have MX Blacks. Until recently, my old Sennheiser HD555 was shelved due to cracked plastic, but I bought new earpads and duct taped it together. That was when I noticed that my Steelseries 6Gv2 with MX Blacks is a lot louder than I thought it was. I also noticed that the soundstage in CSGO was much larger, particularly minor differences in height and sounds in the distance.

And let's be honest, there's plenty of cases where you would want to minimize sound leakage, whether it's watching Prisma Illya, listening to Kyaru Pamyu Pamyu or staying up late.

I dont really have my volume that high up so sound leakage is not a problem for me....

I've got a Logitech G930 that I swear by. Great headset and very comfortable in my opinion.

You swear by a shitty headset that nobody should buy. It's a mountain of cons with the only pro being that the mic is decent.

RGB lighting, or any lighting for that matter on a headset, is so daft. O.o

It is daft in basically everything. I mean you could argue with the music responsive lighting it has some decent cool points to it but mehhhhh. At least in pc cases it doesn't take up any extra room or anything but the only time it is actually maybe useful is on keyboards depending on what lighting you find yourself typing in.

My 2c - Just get the headphones you like and put a mod mic 4 on them (or get a desktop mic like a snowball or yeti).

Terrible audio quality for the price sub-par drivers, wireless. $20 headphones with a $20 mic + wireless. Cheap build-quality. Selling for $80.

Shitty headphones. Only bright-side is that logitech support is legendary.

Well, I think they sound great, and I don't see them being wireless as an issue. To each his own.
