I'm not a fan of refurbished parts.  Despite the repair, they tend to have a much higher failure rate.  If it comes with warranty and you're not afraid to take the PC apart again, by all means go for it.

EVGA PSUs are a bit hit and miss.  I'd personally stay clear of those.  The PSU is often overlooked, but extremely important for the health of your other components.  You get what you pay for.

As for the case : no idea.  I can't find clear pictures right away and even with those I probably wouldn't be able to tell if it's a proper form factor or something bespoke to force people to either upgrade or buy Dell's own parts.

as @Dan Castellaneta said, probably gonna be better off with a quad core, the G3258 is mostly a toy.

which specific evga 500 watt power supply is that? (if you have it, just roll with it, its *fine* either way)

honestly, i just now patched up a system with an FSP group power supply that still has burn marks on the inside, and it works perfectly fine. for what i can measure the voltages are within margin as well.

Thx. Anyway, make sure it's a good evga psu and go quad core, and maybe a current gen gpu if you have the budget.

Personally, I don't like refurbished parts, especially if they're connecting your whole system.

Save more and get a new mobo, a quad core, MAYBE a new gpu, even though the 270x is still perfectly capable, and a real case.
