try under clocking your ram, it adds stability. i do this when i use kits that weren't binned together.

Thanks for the reply. But I removed the older kits, this is a fresh new set of two sticks of 8gb ram with total of 16gb RAM in the system now.

Wondering if 2400mhz is limiting my overclock capabilities on the CPU.

if it's running with no instabilities you're fine. but i'm not sure about voltage though. try and run it as close to specifications as possible.

so I am underclocking ram from 2400mhz to 2100mhz. But the timings remain the same 11-13-13-31. Do I need to change the timings if I want to run the ram at slower frequency? I looked up online and some people were like those timings are not good.

I was just able to choose 2133mhz in dram frequency option in motherboard while having xmp enabled. Its operating at 1.65V only.

What do you suggest?

Should I try the following timing: 11-11-11-28-1T?
