Gaming PC build planning.

I will be building a gaming PC soon here are the specs:

i5 6500

MSI H170

8 GB DDR4

MSI GTX 970

Corsair RM 550

Just two questions-

Will the 6500 in any way bottleneck the 970?

Is the power supply enough?

No, there will be no bottleneck due to 6500 not even with 980Ti, i5 is the best option for gaming because mostly games are not optimized to use more than 4 cores , even if you buy fancy 8 core processor mostly games will run on only 2 to 4 cores. So i5 is the best option if you are going to play games only. Works like editing and rendering will utilize 8 cores if you have that processor.
