Start-up problems

Hello 

A couple of weeks ago my laptop is sometimes starting up very slow , sometimes it goes fast .

Can some one help me ? 

I think it's a ram stick , i am not sure .

I already had a total data lose on my laptop, is it because of that ?

specs : i5 2410m 2.3GHz

            6gb ram ddr3 (1slot 4gb ,2de slot 2gb) 

            500gb seagate hdd  

            windows 10 home 64bit

could be ram related, since you got 2 different sticks in it. 

 

try it without the 2gb stick and see if its fine. 

when it's fine, buy another 4gb stick of the same model than the one thats already inside and you should be fine then.

 

malfunctional ram can cause corrupted data on the HDD, common problem out there. 

 

just try it with only one stick for now and see if its getting better.

 

you should consider to format your drive and reinstall windows just to make sure that the OS is completely fine.
