Good Small form factor CPU cooler?

Hey guys, i'm going to building my brother (who's been stuck on console for years) his first gaming PC for his birthday, and tbh don't have much experience with itx parts.

I just wanted to know of any small, low priced, but decent coolers to cool his FX-6300 in the Rajintek Metis.

It depends what the max clearance is, but the Silverstone AR02 worked great for me when I was running my overclocked AMD processor. It's small and low priced.

Hmm, Cryorig C7, Shadowrock LP or the NH L9a (Don't mix up with NH L9i which is the intel variant of the cooler)

I personally have a Cryorig cooler and the quality is very good.

Thanks, it seems cryorig coolers aren't hugely available in the UK, but the shadowrock looks like a perfect option.

Definitely consider the Noctua one, it is the best of the 3 (Dont quote me  )

Trust me I did, but I can just imagine his face when he sees a puke and brown coloured fan in his new system!

Stick another 92mm fan on it. They cost like £4, I recommend the Arctic F9 ( not sure if this is the right name)

Cryorig C1 or one from Be Quiet.

 

Both are excellent coolers that's cheaper than noctua and looks way better.

Be Quiet lives up to their name..
