What is the Nvidia equivalent

What is the nvidia equivalent of the XFX R9 380 Double Dissipation 4GB?

 

(Don't judge me on my liking for Nvidia, its the only brand i have used)

That would be the GTX  960, but this "equivalent" is anywhere from 5-10% less powerful in games, and costs the same or more. It's not a great value if you live anywhere in NA.

Need it for some video editing, apparently Nvidia cards are better for that (After effects)

Depending on your CPU the 960 4g is the better card anyway because of less driver overhead.

I wouldn't get a Gigabyte personally, the EVGA is a better card with better customer service.

What are your plans for your wireless? That adapter is horrid, it'll work for internet browsing but will drive you crazy if you try and transfer/game with it. And my suggestion is to spend a little extra while ram is cheap and get 16g, if you're editing it will come in handy.

I don't plan to use the wireless adaptor, i have ethernet jacks in my house, but what adaptor would you reccomend (Must be 5Ghz)? 

and i plan to spring for 16gb very soon after the build.

For gaming? AC or don't bother. Before I got my Asus I always felt bad being "that" guy in the room with the monster ping.

 

For surfing, that one will work, though I had that one and the wifes Dongle worked better. That sounded funny.

Its more of a failsafe or for when i take my Pc to somewhere without ethernet jacks. But just one question: What is AC? (To me its the power that comes through my socket)

It's an adapter that takes advantage of 5g, so a 5g wireless router is required. Not cheap, my router cost more than my 390 cost me when I bought them.

The card i chose apparently supports 5Ghz, and i have my ISP provided virgin media 5Ghz router. (With a 200mb line)
