1000US$ Gaming/Streaming build, First time, need some help.

phrodoDbeast

So i would like too build my first PC, I plan on playing most AAA titles, and hopefully streaming them. I don't need any peripherals, but I will only be gaming at 1080p for now.

I know things like the Intel i7 whether it be the 4790k or 6700K, and the 6 and 8 core are all really good but I wanted to know if I could get away with I5 6600k or 4690k.
GPU i wanted either a GTX 970, or close equivalent,
I feel like 8GB of RAM is fine.
MOBO I'm not to sure what to go with between all the "gamer" and just sturdy reliable boards, just wanting to be able to add a second card down the road.
1TB and 250GB SSD.
750W power supply.
I'm kind of a sucker for nicer cases so I liked the NZXT Noctis 450 Mid tower.
Any recommendations, or help off any kind is greatly appreciated. The budget can be raised a little bit but hopefully not over 1200$. this is all US currency.
Thank you all in advance for any help provided. :)

Had to make a few sacrifices such as the 4790K for a Xeon (which essentially is a 4790) to make this build be $1000 USD. I will note that I'd usually recommend 16GB for streaming and gaming simultaneously and that you should upgrade to a more powerful GPU rather than SLI'ing or XFiring - Polaris and Pascal will give you a good opportunity to do so.
