your cpu supports up to 1333 ram. if you have any ram timings etc in bios it could stop post. the first thing i would do is clear cmos. there should be a jumper somewhere about. after resetting bios to default try again. then OC your ram if you like. if you have not mucked about in bios before then try one stick at a time in each slot and see if it posts to narrow down a bad stick. then report back

So I did what you said now it is just crashing after a few seconds in the bios

I don't know if 1833mhz ram will run at 1333mhz. Try taking out 1 stick of 4GB 1833, leave one in, and then try to POST.

 

Last I remember, only 1600mhz RAM was able to down clock to 1333 but that may be chipset specific. What kind of computer do you have? List everything you can about your computer to us so we can better help you out. Is it custom built or pre-made?
