Dinosaur thread, but bumping to get some new eyes on it, maybe there are new products about.  Looked into Raspi HDMI input and saw some advancement there, found some interesting H.264 encoders/decoders, but nothing solid for this particular purpose.

There is also now a petition to get nVidia / AMD to add integer scaling to their drivers.

What happened is that nVidia integrated some stuff into the Linux driver that allows to use pixel perfect scaling when used correctly. It's mentioned in that long main topic on nVidia's forums. There is still no publicly known progress regarding the Windows drivers unfortunately.

If you want a 1-1 of your game u can try opening the browser on the tv and resizing the browser till the second window looks clear. It may work.
