4790 us going to be fine for a good while. Don´t worry about it.

I run stuff fine with a 2600K. That should last me another few years at least. The 4790 is gonna last even longer.

Get an H97 board if you want the features of a Z97 board minus the overclocking (because you have a locked chip), a B85 motherboard if you just need a solid board, and an H81 board if you literally don't need anything except a board.

what kind of options man? i cant understand the differences xD

The biggest differences are that the MSI board has crossfire support, more PCIe connectivity (because it's ATX vs the mATX Gigabyte board), more rear I/O (mainly USB ports) and support for more RAM. There's also a much beefier audio circuit and M.2 support (but not PCIe Gen3 because it's a Haswell board)

pretty good stuff , i dont know if the crossfire support is gonna help me very much but if the connectivity is better and i can upgrade the ram even further in the future , all the usb slots = win ;)

thanks man , ill think about it .. its just that i dont know if the motherboard is the problem
