windows 10 doesn't recognize ssd

Go to solution Solved by ben dover kid,

this shit is solved now. i plugged out my optical drive and connected the ssd to that sata port, works like a charm now. thanks for helping

Check if the SATA data and power cable are properly connected. The data cable should have a lock on it, which will activate when connected in fully.

Like the previous poster said, make sure that all your drivers are updated. Other than that, I really don't know what may be causing this. All I know is that the problem lies with windows.

Well, you can try contacting Microsoft about this... The SSD is working fine, since the motherboard detects it.
