Need mid range air-cooler for my new i5-6400. I don't plan to overclock ofc, and then is this cooler okay for 6400's performance?

Using PC for 1080p gaming and 1440p in future.

It will be good and quiet compared to the stock cooler ;) + you have this nice fan and nickel plated heatsink. Beautiful! It's miles ahead of stock intel if it comes to performance and silent operation.

i won't OC my processor ofc. just playing 1080p and 1440p gaming in the future. i5-6400 is my model. think cryorig will handle it okay?

Even stock cooler will do the job. Cryorig declares that gives you 25% more cooling performance. And it will be a lot quieter. It costs the same as Hyper 212 evo but in my opinion looks better.

Edit: But if you like 212, go for it, It should give you a little bit more performance. But it's tall.. So I'm not sure if it could fit in your case (min. 160 mm of free space)

I need S340. But more Define S'ish

yea, looks amazing tho haha just thinking about temperatures... i won't OC, standard core is 2,7GHz and turbo is 3,2GHz. think it's fine for C7 to hande it?

I said that even stock cooler would handle it. C7 will give you a good temperatures. Maybe not like high end air or water cooling but it will be more than enough for your 6400.
