So I JUST switched over to intel from a AMD A8-5600k to an i5 4690k, I am extremely new to overclocking intel CPU's, all I messed with was the multiplier and that core voltage. From what I could research my OC seems god like but I dont want to make that boast until someone else can say it is pretty good as well, anyways the pic shows the OC max temps (Hyper T4 cooler).

What is it like during a stress test?  That's the time when we need to see frequency and voltage numbers :)

nvm I see the max column now :P

That does look incredibly good... 4.4 GHz at basically 1.1 v is really good!

Okay sure one sec will edit and replace the pic with it

no don't worry, I see what you've done there now :)

temps in F is kinda misleading....

What is the voltage and temps (in C) at 4.5?

Ryzen 7 5800X3D , Arctic Liquid Freezer  III , Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite , Corsair Vengeance 32GB , Gigabyte RTX 5070Ti ,  WD SN850 / MP44L

right in the picture... the F temps are in parenthesis; the C temps are "default"

I'll get to that tomorrow sorta 12 am, but I have a Hyper T4 cooler so I dont want to push it to high where I cannot get below 80c in the stress test

oh lol well after getting a lot of crappy chips when buying AMD did I get lucky and get or golden chip from intel or is this an average oc (with voltage)?

Well, basing it on the 4770k, since it is basically an identical chip with HT, 4.4 Ghz is (apparently) fairly typical, but also nothing to scoff at - it's a good overclock for sure. I'm not sure if that voltage is considered very good or just average, but I would think it's pretty good since my 4770k runs at higher than that on stock frequency :)

Try running aida64 for 24 hrs and then run aida64+uengine heaven at the same time to stress both your cpu AND your gpu and see if u have enough power for them both

AIDA64 is to "heavy".
XTU for an hour, then adjust...

I'm more focused on the voltage than the Ghz, like highest Ghz with lowest voltage.

Voltage is good, but temps seem a little high.

I have a 4790K (basically the same, but with HT)
4.5GHz @1.15v and 56c.
but with an H105, cooler makes a difference?

I decided to stay up to overclock more, anyways this is what I got so far (ignore temps lmao) I will try to lower the voltage now. Also try intel burn test v2, I'm curious what your temps are with that.

EDIT: Pic is misleading, the overclock is 4.7 Ghz, just was not doing anything while taking it so the clock speed lowered.

That's a great speed for that voltage, but hose temps need work.  You need a better cooler :)

The 4790k is haswell refresh, so vs a 4770k it will be cooler and/or faster.  The 4770k runs at exactly the same frequency (and has pretty much same everything really) as the 4690k, strangely enough though... o.O
