Is there a way...

I recently bought a Xonar DGX Headphone 5.1 sound card.  I use both a headphone set, and a small set of surround sound speakers; but never at the same time.  When I switch between the two, I have to manually disconnect which ever connection in plugged in.  Right now, the computer is sitting on my desk, so that isn't that big of a deal; but in the near future, I plan to arrange it under my desk and won't have easy access to the back of the computer.  Is there a way that I can keep both of them connected and just switch between which input I want to use (kinda like a HDMI switch)?

Taskbar > audio icon > playback devices > select the one you want, set default.

There might be a utility that does this faster, a friend showed something like it to me once.

The asus software should allow for some software switching... My Asus cards all do anyway...

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
