Security camera outputing corupt video files?

I didn't know where to put this topic, so it will have to go here.

So, I have an amcrest pro 1080p camera that is wired up to our network. I am running a FreeNas FTP server. The camera is trying to record, and is putting out video files but they are corrupt. (see Fig. 1)

As you can see, the video files are corrupt, they are supposed to be ".dav" files. The ftp server is functioning, and is allowing things to be written and deleted. The camera will also connect to a nas, but I cant figure out how to configure it. I have a cifis share on freenas to allow the PCs to view the video. Here is the configuration for a nas on the camera. (see Fig 2.) I just cant seem to figure it out :(

Hello,

Just bought a set of these cameras and was having the same problem. I solved the problem by creating an individual ftp server for each camera on a server. In my case I originally tried to have 3 cams ftp to a WD my cloud, and this resulted in random corrupt files.

Regards,

Mack
