Which Build is Better for my Needs?

Crazie_Flash

So which on of the builds do you think is better FOR MY NEEDS?

  1. 1. Which on of the builds below do you think is better FOR MY NEEDS?

    • Fire-Cooled Ice Dominator
      2
    • Firestriker
      2

Here are my needs:

-I need to be able to multitask. I need to be able to run modded minecraft, record or stream with obs, run a minecraft server, and render a video with movie maker all at the same time

-I need to be able to run games at as high settings as possible. I need to be able to run ARK, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, and games like that with as high setting as possible

-I might need to do both at the same time. I might need to run a Steam game with as high settings as possible, record or stream that with obs, run a minecraft server, and render a video with movie maker at the same time.

-I need to be at a $1300 budget.

Which of the following build is the best for me? FYI, the future upgrades are what I would get in the future after the original builds.

Original Firestriker: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/CarletonD/saved/Zm2Pxr

Firestriker with Future Upgrades: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/CarletonD/saved/csMscf

Original Fire-Cooled Ice Dominator: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/CarletonD/saved/csMscf

Fire-Cooled Ice Dominator with Future Upgrades: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/CarletonD/saved/w3VV3C

Which one is better for my needs? Feel free to comment any other part lists that you might think would be suitable for my needs, as long as you write a clear answer for which of my builds is better. Thank you!

Shadowplay might be something you want to look into, although it's with nvidia cards

I feel like you're shitposting because you want dual 390X for minecraft.

Christ, if anything, get a 4790k, and a 970. More than enough for Minecraft, recording and all the other shit you want to do.

An 8 core AMD CPU equates to about a low-medium end Intel chip. Get a 4790k or 6700k.

And please, don't use windows movie maker. That's just cringy asf. Save some money in your build and get a decent video editing program

CPU is for multitasking. Why does everyone hate this CPU? Would the AMD FX 8350 do better???

Because AMD cpus are lower power than Intel ones. While cheaper, they do not perform as well. 4 cores of AMD equate to about 2 cores of intel. Remember, cores aren't the only thing that's important.

You won't be able to do all of that at the same time even with 8 cores without lagging or stuttering. The big two things out of that would be running a heavy stress game and render a video at the same time would just eat too much resources.

(I know he said other games, but since this seems to be the main one) Minecraft isn't a high intensity game.

Remember, if you want to try to push 1440p, it's a waste because your monitor you have selected is only 1080p. Keep that in mind

I mean still, I have seen so many good reviews about this CPU, and its multitasking (well one was the 8350), but still.

For $1300 you should be doing this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RsBWWZ

Please listen to the advice people give you on forums, they're experts.

The bottom line: You need to think, I want to be able to do these things all at once. But is that actually reasonable and likely to happen? Will I actually be streaming, rendering, playing games, recording, and running a server all at the same time. You need to think about the logistics and realize that isn't 1. likely going to happen, or 2. will be extremely difficult to do.

Think logistics, kid

You'd probably be better off with a xeon or i7 for doing things like multitasking. Also putting to $400 cards in Crossfire you would be better off with a GTX 980ti. But we are talking about minecraft and it really uses no system resources especially GPU wise

AMD cpus are much cheaper in builds, and why does that make the first build bad? Everybody is saying how I will mostly be playing minecraft, and that it doesn't require any special graphics card, so is everybody basically saying the first build is better?

But if you want to play COD or whatever you said, stream, run a MC server, record, and export at the same time, you need to understand that is extremely impossible. Kid, if you want to, try this:
