Hi guys I have been using this PC for about a year now and I'm thinking of upgrading my system with AMD parts, can you guys please help me out?

My current computer specs:

MSi Z97 Gaming 9 AC Motherboard
Nvidia GTX960 2GB
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR3 RAM(2 X 8GB)
1 TB Seagate Barracuda HDD
128 GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD
Intel i5 4690 @3.9 GHz
Corsair CS750M 750 W PSU
BenQ RL255 Monitor

None of the components are overclocked and I will not overclock my system in the future as well.

Please give me options in a similar price range.

Thanks.

It's not worth it. You would need to buy a new motherboard and cpu. Just buy a 4790 and you will be far better off then upgrading to new amd parts.

Current Build: Core i7 4790k @ 4.6, Asus Maximus VII Hero, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400mhz 8gb (2x4gb), GTX 980ti, NZXT Kraken X61, Fractal Define R5  EVGA Supernova B2 850w, Some 300gb hard drive.

getting a 380 will give you a small bump, getting a 390(X) will give you a big jump. "Upgrading" the processor will most likely result in downgrading with amd parts.

As there has not been any socket comparability between Intel and AMD, I'm guessing you mean just the GPU when you said "AMD parts". The most cost effective way to upgrade your current rig is to get a better GPU as anything - with regards to AMD parts - else will necessitate a Mobo change.

The R9 390 would be my recommendation.

Definitely upgrade the processor to an i7, but for everything else I would be completely satisfied with, so idk how to help you there... I wouldn't know how to upgrade ur system, seeing as how it is already the best it could be as far as I'm concerned... maybe I'm poor or something lol

Wait 6 months for the new GPUs or buy a 4k free-sync display now for around 500

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
