Hi Guys,

Recently been looking into upgrading my PC, and i'd like some ideas.

I currently have:

Motherboard: Asus P8H77-v

CPU: i5-3470 (Stock cooler, thinking about investing in the NZXT Kraken; been meaning to do this for a very long time)

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance

GPU: GTX 780

PSU: OCZ 650w zt Series 80Plus Bronze

Case: Razer H440

Storage: SSD Samsung 850evo, 120gb - HDD Seagate 1.5tb

I'm happy with my case, and my GPU. What would be the best upgrades possible with this for £500-£600?

Thanks!

If you're gonna be doing alot of gaming I definitely recommend getting a new GPU.(I am not a Graphics Card Expert)

You can upgrade your CPU to an i7 6700K, a compatible motherboard like ASUS Z170-A and some DDR4 RAM. All these should be easily possible in your budget.

That GPU is sufficient for 1080 Gaming and a 970 or 980 isn't a particularly great upgrade. So a 980Ti would be the only one that would make sense. But they're £600 in the UK

See my Build here!

Intel 6700k -  Strix GTX 1080Ti - Corsair AX760 - Corsair Dominator 16GB 3000MHz - ASUS Maximus VIII Hero

Seagate Barracuda 1TB -  Samsung 120GB 840 - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB - Corsair H100i - Corsair Air 540 White -

Corsair AF120 - 2x Noctua NF-F12 - 3 x Noctua NF-S12

 Dell S2417DG - Dell UH2515H

He could a get another GPU and run them in SLI.

That then means a new PSU new motherboard etc.

if you want the best fps per dollar then i would go with the ASUS 390x but it is a little long so you should measure your case but I think the H440 fine

also an AMD CPU is cheaper but you said you already had a CPU

I am already happy with my GPU!:) I also prefer intel processors, looking at maybe a 6600k or 6700k.
