XSplit has a free version, FRAPS is very popular and has a free version, NVIDIA has recording software as well should you own their card thats  compatible. Also, OBS (Open Source Broadcaster) has many many options and can record rather well. It is 100% free.

Did everyone see that? Because I will not be doing it again.

if your on AMD, OBS is great, if your on Nvidia, OBS is still great but shadowplay might be your preference.
