does anyone know where i can get a waterblock for the XFX HD7850 core edition 2GB? or if there are any that id be able to adapt to fit it?

The only things ive seena fter a google search have been people saying it's not worth watercooling, and ok it might not be, but im planning on doing a custom loop and it seems a bit stupid to leave out the graphics card.

EK had a full cover block for the 7850 at one point, although I doubt you will find it in stock anywhere. This should fit though, I just measured: http://www.swiftech.com/mcw82vgawaterblock.aspx

Although you will probably want to use something to cool the VRMs/RAM, like small heatsinks or something.

why waste money on a water-cooling look when you could put that money towards higher end hardware? Upgrade your stuff first. Then water cool later. I get it aesthetics...but just use some LED strips or something.

i did look at the one on ek but it doesnt fit this model.  the other solution was to do that and get a fan that sits in the pci slot below

i am waiting to see if ek release a waterblock for the sapphire r9 380x i have in my other system but i thought since im planning on doing hardline tubing id want to practice it in my worse off system, which sounds stupid but i see it as if youre only really cooling the processor why not just get an all in one?

There are benefits to watercooling cards like this, acoustics and overclocking come to mind.

Well here's the thing, to get that overclocking performance, you could just upgrade. Acoustics should be negligible since you have to run 1) a pump 2) a radiator which requires fans, which are already on the video card. Yes it would be slightly quieter but upgrading is just the much better option, especially with a card like that.

EDIT: sorry that sounds like I am being a D*** and that's not how I wanted it to sound. I apologize.
