is this a good mic

Blue Microphones Snowball iCE Condenser Microphone, Cardioid. Is this a good mic for talking ingame for 44 $ ? 

                 is there better mics in this price range 40-50 $ ?

That will work great. I am sure monoprice offers some good cheap alternative, but the snowball brand is well liked.

IMO thats the best microphone under 500$

 

The iCE edition is the cheapest, because it doesnt have the other 3 modes that the normal snowball has.

I say go for it, just note that the skype voice compresses so badly that its not worth just for skype.
