Prime95

Go to solution Solved by DukFruk,

Found the cause of my troubles, one of my ram sticks is faulty, the other one is perfectly stable, ran prime 95 for 24h, no errors. The faulty stick would start giving errors after just 2 minutes of prime95 blend test.

Greetings LTT forums yet again.

Today I wanted to test my pc stability, using prime95.(Note every component is running stock clocks/ factory OC.)

My pc specs:

Board: MSI Z77A-GD65
Bios: Version A.80
VGA:   MSI N660Ti PE 2GD5/OC X2
PSU:   Corsair AX860i
Intel Core i7 3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz LGA 1155
MEM: Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3-1600 - CL9 1.5v XMP 2x4gb (Running at 1333Mhz)
Storage: OCZ vector 256 gig SSD  and 2x Seagate Barracuda 2000GB (64MB;7200)

Soundcard: Asus Xonar Essence STX

COOLER: Antec KÜHLER H₂O 620 CPU Cooler

OC   Gpu:Factory OC

        Cpu: Stock

        Memory: 1333 mhz

OS: Windows 8 64 Bit professional

I started running a custom blend test, like the one Linus did in his memory diagnostic video. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZhHlX6JMvg) Setting the memory usage to 7500 MB (I have a total of 8 gigs of memory). I had a lot of threads failing, even after running just for a short time, any suggestions? See the image below:

Try using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to stress it and see if you end up with threads failing.
