Shopping help for watercooling.

Waldemar

Hello :)

I'm wondering if you guys could help me put together a custom loop with parts from this site http://www.aquatuning.us/. The reason I want it from this site is that they also have a norwegian retailer. At the moment I only need to cool a cpu, but I'm looking for a loop where I can expand later to cool a GPU as well. It can be with soft tubing. I have not done a loop in 10 years or so.tongue emoticon

The case it is gonna be fitted in is a Fractal Design R5.

I hope this is not much of a hassle.

Cheers in advance.

Just to fix the link: http://www.aquatuning.no/vannkjoling/

And just to add a few more links: http://digitalimpuls.no/PC-komponenter/Vannkj%C3%B8ling https://www.komplett.no/category/10462/vifterkjoelingvannkjoeling

Water cooling compatibility Define R5

  • Front – 360, 280, 240, 140 and 120 mm radiators of all thicknesses (requires removal of drive bays)
  • Top – 420, 360, 280, 240, 140 and 120 mm radiators. (A thickness limitation of 55mm for both radiator + fan applies on 420, 280 and 140 mm radiators) (420 and 360 mm radiators require removal of the ODD bay)
  • Bottom – 120 or 240 mm radiator (Use of radiators in the bottom position limits the PSU length to 165 mm)
  • Rear – 120 or 140 mm radiator

There is what can fit in the case.

Now we just need to know which CPU we are making the setup for.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

The front of the Define R5 could fit a 360, so maybe a Alphacool NexXxoS Monsta 360 or other thick radiatiors with push/pull.

As for the top, probably a 240 would be better and despite the offset fan mounts, getting an extra-thick radiator would block the memory and would make it harder for upgrades. Also, I've heard that 280 radiators might block cable routing on top of the mobo, so a slim 240 on push on top.

NEED X58 BOARD WITH SATA3 ASAP
