i could just get an XLR to 3.5mm adapter right?

It needs phantom power as well, so you could use this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KAPGLQC?psc=1 with an XLR to 3.5mm cable.

http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Female-Stereo-Microphone/dp/B00KO8WAQK/ref=sr_1_4?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1455411783&sr=1-4&keywords=xlr+to+3.5mm+female

Im looking for a microphone that is a good microphone for around $50-$120. So far i''ve came up with these mics :

Audio Technica ATR2500

Audio Technica AT2020

Neewer NW-800

CPU Ryzen 5 3600 | Motherboard MSI B550 | RAM 32 GB Corsair Vengance Pro | GPU EVGA GTX 980ti | Case Corsair 4000X | Storage Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD,  Team GX2 1TB SSD | PSU Sentey 850w 80+ Bronze | Cooling AMD Wraith RGB | PCPartPicker URL https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RN7kGc |

The AT2020 is $98 on amazon, but that's the XLR version, so unless you have an XLR interface and such for it, you won't be able to use it with your PC.

AT2020USB+ is $130 (Refurbished) http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT2020USB-Condenser-Microphone-Refurbished/dp/B016YL4POK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1455411169&sr=8-3&keywords=at2020usb

or the AT2020USB (What I currently own) is $144 (New) http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT2020USB-Cardioid-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B001AS6OYC/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1455411169&sr=8-2&keywords=at2020usb

The USB+ version has a headphone jack on the microphone, and also a few dials to adjust on it as well; both the AT2020USB and AT2020USB+ can be plugged directly into your computer's USB port and be used right after drivers are automatically installed.

Very very nice microphone, definitely would recommend.
